Center for Architecture

The Center for Architecture was fascinating and sad at the same time. It showed great resolutions for the future if global warming was to continue at the rate it is now. For New York it showed more local farmer markets within neighborhoods, and water transportation if ever certain areas begin to flood. These are both good ideas, but shameful that things have to lead to this.

Group Progress

My group is achieving their goal step by step each day. Yesterday we finally got the oppurtunity to  practice our actual talk show, but primarily pertaining to the voice projection. I must say we did quite well, aside from the lagging of voice through the mic. My partner Derek and I also completed one of our interviews as well. Overall things are going great

Group Work

Right now my group is facing a few challenges. We have to create a proper script to perform from on the actual day of the talk show. We also have to go to he farmers market at union square to interview some of the sellers and harvesters there. As soon as that's done the only thing left is to build everything up on Second Life. Hopefully things will go swell, which i think they are.

Food Production Clip

I found this video to be very informative on how some of our food is made. I have a feeling that a lot of people aren't aware of the harsh systems that these animals have to go through before their parts are ready to be sold on the market as consumer foods.

Transit Trip

A lot has changed over the many years of trains being made. The photo on the top shows a train of japan that has a lot of aesthetic value, it just goes to show how far of an upgrade trains have made.
